The investigation continued Wednesday morning into a shooting that left five injured at Morgan State University.

Police continued to search for a shooter or shooters after a barrage of gunfire on the Morgan State University campus Tuesday night tduring the first evening of the school’s annual Homecoming festivities.
It was unclear how many people opened fire during the shooting that occurred around 9:25 p.m., but Worley said all of the victims were unintended targets. Four of the victims were Morgan State students between ages 18 and 22. Four of the victims are male and one is female. Baltimore Councilwoman Odette Ramos, whose district covers part of the campus, said the shooting occurred as students walked back to a dorm, Thurgood Marshall Hall, after the Mister & Miss Morgan State University homecoming coronation at the Carl J. Murphy Fine Arts Center. Some of the shots shattered windows in the dorm.Ramos said officials were meeting Wednesday morning to discuss whether to continue with Morgan State’s Homecoming, which is a major event on campus each year.
