Birmingham police are investigating two unrelated shootings Wednesday morning.
In one of the shootings, an officer was flagged down just after 9:30 a.m. The shooting happened in the 1000 block of Second Avenue North.No suspects are in custody. In the second shooting, which happened about the same time, the male victim showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound.According to police radio communications, officers were still trying to find the scene.
