A man died after being shot in a West Anchorage apartment parking lot early Thursday morning, leading police to investigate it as a homicide.
ANCHORAGE, Alaska - did not identify the victim but said he was found lying in the parking lot of an apartment complex on West 31st Avenue — between Wisconsin and Turnagain streets — just after midnight.
Responding officers found the man with at least one gunshot wound to his upper body, according to APD, but he died after being taken to the hospital.
