Salt Lake City police are investigating a shooting early Sunday that left a 17-year-old boy injured.

Around 3 a.m., police learned someone dropped off a 17-year-old boy at the hospital with a gunshot wound, according to a statement from the agency. The boy's injuries are not life-threatening.
