Officers were called out to Camarena Elementary School on Exploration Falls Drive to investigate spray paint messages and swastikas
Chula Vista police are investigating vandalism at an Otay Mesa elementary school on Sunday and possibly early Monday as a hate crime, a police spokesperson said.
Late on Sunday, a custodian was cleaning up the graffiti when he spotted someone on the Otay Ranch campus and called police. Officers were unable to find anyone. Molina said school resource officers have been at the campus working closely with school staff and will be investigating both incidents as felony hate crimes that resulted in thousands of dollars in damage.A San Diego couple thought they’d invested in gold. Instead, they and hundreds of others say they were scammed.
