A police chase ended in gunfire Tuesday afternoon in the West Adams area, leaving the suspect and one other person injured.
Tuesday, November 26, 2024 9:35PMIt's unclear what prompted the chase, but Eyewitness News was told the suspect, who was driving a white Maserati, was wanted for assault with a deadly weapon in a domestic violence case.
Officers chased the suspect on the 110 Freeway then on surface streets in the Ladera Heights area and eventually into a residential neighborhood near West and Jefferson boulevards. The suspect then pulled into a driveway, parked behind an apartment building and walked toward the street, where police were waiting.Two guns were found on the scene near the suspect, who was eventually treated by paramedics and taken to a hospital.
