Police arrested four women Dec. 8 at hotels on Quarry and Rockside roads on a variety of charges including prostitution, drug abuse and possession of criminal tools. The arrests were predicated on a police operation targeting sex sellers in the city.Police were called to a hotel at 12:45 p.m. Dec. 16 for a woman being disorderly. Police found the woman at the front desk cursing at the desk clerk.

A driver was pulled over at 12:43 a.m. Dec. 16 for making a lane change without signaling. The driver reportedly told the officer his turn signal was broken and he had active warrants for his arrest outside the pickup radius. During a search of the car, police found a substance that tested positive for cocaine. The driver was cited for failure to use a turn signal and for driving under suspension. The passenger was cited for attempted drug abuse.
