TUCSON, Ariz. — The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has had an intense search in the Southeast side neighborhood near Houghton and Drexel and in the areas all around it—but they have not been looking for a criminal.This is not the face you expect to see on a law enforcement officer, but K9 Daemen is a member of the Pima County Sheriff’s Department—specially trained to sniff things out in a search.He was in a neighborhood near Houghton and Drexel.
“I posted that on my Ring network thing, and we also have in this neighborhood a really nice Facebook group chat and everything, so everyone’s been looking for the dog,” Proebstel said. Across the street from Daemon’s neighborhood, , Dr. Lindsay Juhl takes care of Daemen at Civano Animal Hospital.
