The free rides are available on all regularly scheduled Pierce Transit bus trips as well as on SHUTTLE and Runner on-demand services.
If you’re looking for some fun, there will also be a Transit Trivia Night in Tacoma on Thursday at Zeek’s Pizza, 1702 Pacific Avenue, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Everyone is welcome at the all-ages event that’s aimed at learning more about public transportation and commuting options. According to Pierce Transit, June is nationally recognized as Ride Transit Month. During the month, transit agencies and partners promote public transportation and use activities and events to inspire people to ride transit.
