Cayden Keeth's 41-yard touchdown pass with just over a minute remaining lifted Pieper to a huge win over Smithson Valley.
A little more than a minute remained, but Pieper senior quarterback Cayden Keeth was confident his 41-yard strike to Evan Drake was going to be good enough to topple a team that played for a state championship last year. Sure enough, it was as Pieper pinned a 39-36 victory against Smithson Valley Friday night before a capacity crowd at the 10,000-seat Warrior Coliseum .
