Paramount Home Entertainment will release The Picard Legacy Collection on November 7th. The limited edition, individually numbered 54-disc Blu-ray collection contains Star Trek: The Next Generation seasons 1-7, Star Trek: Picard seasons 1-3, and the four TNG movies, Star Trek Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, Star Trek: Insurrection, and Star Trek: Nemesis.
In addition to every episode of TNG, Picard, and the 4 TNG movies, The Picard Legacy Collection limited set also includes over 35 hours of bonus features, an exclusive edition of The Wisdom of Picard book featuring brand-new artwork and quotes, one-of-a-kind deck of playing cards, a magnet sheet featuring all of Captain Picard’s badges, and four custom Chateau Picard drink coasters.
Star Trek: Legacy's premise will focus on the 'next Next Generation,' but the door is clearly open for TNG's legacy actors to join the spinoff as well. The TNG icons have expressed their interest in returning for Star Trek: Legacy, and Jonathan Frakes even pitched Admiral William Riker as Captain Seven's commanding officer, which would allow Frakes to contribute in front of and behind the camera as a director.
