Suns coach Monty Williams said Landry Shamet didn't practice Friday due to a left foot injury and his status for Sunday's Game 1 is to be determined.

"We've dealt with certain parts of the season that just come up and injuries are a part of it," Suns coach Monty Williams said after Friday's practice."I'm not sure of the severity of it at all. He didn't practice today. That's all we have to report, but we're built for situations like this and that's why the player development program is so important.

"Just going to wait and see until we get more information about what it really is." Williams continued."He just didn't practice today." Those are all career lows for Shamet, who is in his fourth NBA season, but he's coming off a season-high 27-point performance in last Sunday's regular season finale against Sacramento at Footprint Center. " is going to be back," Suns center Deandre Ayton said.
