This week, the Hon. Luis Muñoz-Marín Elementary School held a school-wide parranda — a Puerto Rican caroling tradition. With each classroom visit, the group grows larger until everyone is performing together. 🎶
A group of students walk to classrooms while performing a song. Then, as a group, the students continue to the next classroom.
Each visit will grow larger as each classroom joins in until the entire group is performing together. The school began this tradition in 2013, but took a hiatus due to the pandemic.
