The Cubs and Cardinals play in London June 24-25, the first MLB series there since the Yankees and Red Sox faced off in 2019. The games four years ago drew crowds of nearly 60,000 per night.
It was one of four international series MLB played in 2019, pre-pandemic. Monterrey, Mexico hosted series between the Astros and Angels and the Cardinals and Reds. The Mariners and Athletics opened that season in Tokyo, Japan. NBC Sports
