People in three Alabama metro areas have shorter life expectancies than almost anywhere in the U.S., according to a recent analysis.
The analysis found residents in Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk metro area in Connecticut have the longest life expectancy in the U.S. at 83 years and that six of the 10 country’s metro areas with the longest life expectancy are in California and Florida.
Jackson, Mississippi, and Mobile, Alabama metros have the lowest life expectancy among the 119 metro areas analyzed.1. Bridgefort-Stamford-Norwalk, Connecticut – 83 years3.
