Despite gas prices reaching record highs these last few weeks, Texans are ready to travel this summer.
. Travel spending in the state recovered last year to 92% of pre-pandemic levels, checking in at $76 billion. Younger travelers aged 18 to 25 are more likely to plan a vacation, according to Bankrate’s survey, with 72% indicating they’ll venture out. Next came 26- to 41-year-olds at 65%.
