Penn State left tackle Olu Fashanu was having a terrific season in 2022 protecting quarterback Sean Clifford’s blind side. Only having one start in 2021, Fashanu was dominant in his performances through an eight-game stretch, not allowing a single sack all season.
All that ended when Fashanu was sidelined due to an unrevealed injury suffered in the Ohio State game. Despite that, he was still projected as a first-round NFL Draft pick, so when the junior decided to return to PSU for the 2023 season, it was a bit of a surprise.
