Penn State used a ferocious defense and a patient offensive game plan to shut out No. 24 Iowa, 31-0 in the annual Whiteout game at Beaver Stadium.
The Nittany Lions completely dominated the Hawkeyes limiting them to 76 total yards and four first downs. The time of possession was 45:27 for Penn State to 14:33 for Iowa. PSU also forced four turnovers. Offensively, PSU quarterback Drew Allar was 25/37 for 166 yards and 4 touchdown passes. Two of the scores were to tight end Tyler Warren and one each to KeAndre Lambert-Smith and Khalil Dinkins. The Lions rushed for 215 yards as a team.
