There's still time to come and meet Spectrum News 1 personalities at the Pecan Street Festival in Austin! Join us for arts, crafts, food, music, and fun!
AUSTIN, Texas — The Pecan Street Festival is returning to downtown Austin this weekend, one of the longest-running arts/crafts and music festivals of its type, having been started in 2006. The festival, so named for the original name of 6th Street, is a two-day event featuring music, art, food and rides for the kids.
Like Austin itself, Pecan Street Festival attendees are diverse. Some come to buy art, others come for the food or the music, but they all come to take part in a tradition that is 100% Austin and has been known for over three decades as a great way to spend a weekend. Spectrum News 1 will be on hand on Saturday, May 6, and there you can meet our talent/personalities.
