Former Clippers guard Patrick Beverley claims the team hasn't lived up to contract promises.
Former NBA guard Patrick Beverley is claiming that the Los Angeles Clippers haven't honored part of his contract agreements stemming from his deal in 2019. Beverley, now playing overseas in Isreal, simply wants the organization to honor the agreement. He also revealed that he turned down a higher paying deal from the Sacramento Kings in 2019 to stay with the Cluppers.
' That's fire as f–k!'According to Beverley, the Cluppers got a few of the courts done with before COVID-19 closed everything down. He said that the agreement with Ballmer was a handshake deal and now that the Clippers have just built their new arena, he is looking to rekindle the agreement.'I think they built two of them and then COVID hit, so I hit my agent and I'm like, 'What's up with those 92 basketball courts?'' Beverley continued.
