What makes Patagonia the favorite? (And are there any OTHER apparel companies that you think should be first? Central/South American-themed or otherwise?) There's a reason Utahns love it so much! (Gotta be the guanaco, right?)

Clothing company Patagonia, which is a favorite among Utahns who love the outdoors, tops a new poll measuring the reputation of big business across the United States. The poll asked 16,300 people their thoughts on which companies have the best reputation and which have the worst. A second set of respondents then rated the 100 most visible companies on seven dimensions of reputation to calculate the company’s RQ score.

Costco, which has 11 locations in the state, including it's largest store in the world, jumped 24 spots to rank second.Other companies of note to Utahns included Kroger, which is the parent company of Smith’s. Kroger ranked 27th, ahead of Target , Walmart and Dollar General , among others. Delta Airlines, which has a hub at Salt Lake City International Airport, ranked 58th, but was the top-ranked airline on the list, ahead of United , Southwest , and Spirit Airlines .The five corporations that ranked at the bottom of the list were Meta , Twitter , Fox Corporation , bankrupt cryptocurrency and exchange company FTX , and the Trump Organization .
