Fort Worth police said the crash happened at approximately 12:24 a.m. Friday at 3001 Eagle Parkway.
The driver, identified as 19-year-old Armando Tovar, Jr., was released from the hospital and placed under arrest for intoxication manslaughter, police said.
The single-vehicle crash happened at 1:40 a.m. June 2 on the IH-30 Service Road at Belt Line Road, according to the The driver and the passenger, who suffered serious injuries, were taken to the hospital for treatment. The passenger was later pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.
