Chicago police are warning motorists in the Park Manor neighborhood about a series of recent car thefts over the past few weeks.

In February and March, at least six vehicles have been broken into as they were parked along streets in the neighborhood. In two instances, the victim returned to their vehicle to find a broken window and the steering column had been ripped open in an attempt to take the vehicle, police said.Between 10:30 p.m. and 5:10 a.m. on Feb.
