The new closing date — which is two weeks after its initial closing — will be its latest since 1993.
A skier cuts through the powder at Park City Mountain Resort during the 2022-23 season.It’s been an unexpectedly good year for Park City Mountain Resort, which has received the most snow to date in at least 49 years. So, the ski area decided it should do something unexpected as well.The largest lift-serviced ski area in North America will stay open through April 23 after seeingstack up there so far this season.
“My first season back working with the team at Park City Mountain has truly been an experience of a lifetime,”, vice president and chief operating officer of Park City Mountain, said in a news release. “From our early opening in November and spinning all lifts by Christmas Day, through more than 400 [inches] of snowfall by March 1 — I have been mindful to appreciate every day.
Parking at Mountain Village surface lots will be free and reservations will not be required starting April 2. The resort’s annual pond skim will be held at the Mountain Village on April 8. Sales of the 2023-24 Epic Pass are set to begin Tuesday.
