— which took place in Paris and showed off his Haute Couture Spring 2020 collection — he included all the things the brand is known for: fun, over-the-top creations, specific themes, and icons. A whole lot of icons.There was Boy George, who popped up alongside other famous fans and Gaultier muses like Dita Von Teese, as well as Paris Jackson, AKA the daughter of Michael Jackson, who made her runway debut.
As far as all those couture designs go, it was pretty much a round up of the classics, instantly recognizable as Jean Paul Gaultier pieces. We saw lingerie, tulle, and, of course, those famous sailor-inspired looks on the bodies of some of the world's top models. Coco Rocha also did a full step dance in a dark red and black ensemble.
