Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson suffered a bruise after a teammate landed on him during a game. While he initially missed a drive, he returned and played for several more plays before exiting due to lingering discomfort. The Packers coach, Matt LaFleur, stated that Watson's injury is not serious and they will monitor his progress in practice this week.

It was when the guy fell on him on the sideline.""You still gotta be able to function," LaFleur said.
"I went back in, and it was feeling all right," Watson said after the game."But it was just kind of lingering a little bit and I just couldn't play the type of football I wanted to play, so I just had to shut it down." The Packers' first practice of the week will be Wednesday afternoon. LaFleur said he planned to give the players the morning off in order to spend some time with their families on Christmas morning, but then it was back to work.
