A porch pirate was caught in the act on camera in Cleveland, but the strangest part was that the crook who was stealing Amazon packages was also dressed in an Amazon uniform.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -
Minutes after USPS dropped off an Amazon package outside Michael Tran’s Cleveland home a brown Ford van pulled up. A video shows a person donning a full Amazon uniform get out with what appears to be a package.“She’s wearing Amazon gear,” Tran said. “It looks very official. I can’t imagine how easy it is to get an Amazon jacket and the fact that they can just disguise themselves so easily.”
“She obviously knows what she’s doing because she’s covering her head, she’s ducking down to avoid the doorbell cameras,” Tran explained.“Violated because you know we keep an eye out for each other in the neighborhood, but you don’t really think twice to look at an Amazon person, you think oh they’re delivering another package,” Tran said.
“I felt a bit of comfort that I wasn’t the only one,” Stormer said. “You could clearly see a large van pulling up into our driveway and a gentleman getting out in an Amazon uniform as strange as that may sound and grabbing all of the packages off our front porch.”
