Rachelle Rae Zeller, 38, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., was found not guilty of two counts of aggravated assault but she was found guilty of simple assault and reckless endangerment, according to reports.
A Pa. woman may have been acquitted on a felony charge saying she hit a man with her vehicle but she was also found guilty of endangering the same man and punching and stomping a woman during a brawl that broke out once a youth football game ended back in 2021.
Zeller reportedly punched and stomped Dayna Schall. She drove her Mercedes Benz on the field and reportedly hit Gary Chapin. According to Theron J. Solomon, Zeller’s lawyer, said she was trying get her son and daughter and leave the field. She witnessed Schall approach her daughter. Zeller thought Schall was about to attack her daughter and that’s when she punched her.Her lawyer said Chapin was the aggressive one in the situation. “He was seeking out vengeance,” Solomon said, claiming Chapin believed Zeller was the one who attacked his wife.
