Bobbi Jo Vaia, a veterinary technician, was said to have filled a Xanax prescription for her dead pet five times after it was put down.
A veterinary technician has been accused of attempting to fill a Xanax prescription bottle for her dog, which had been euthanized four months previously, according to a news report.
Authorities were altered on Aug. 25 when a person claiming to be the manager of a veterinary practice attempted to call in a prescription to a pharmacy for 300 Xanax tablets for Vaia’s dog, the news site said.When a pharmacist tried calling to confirm the prescription, Vaia was confronted at work and denied ever making the phone call, court records said.
