Josh Shapiro’s proposed state budget, according to House Republican Appropriations Committee Chairman Seth Grove.
House Republicans enter this budget season in a different place than they have been for the past 12 years when they were the chamber’s majority party. Democrats hold a one-seat majority. What’s more, he also doesn’t anticipate the state’s revenues will grow to keep up with that level of spending and efforts the state employs to increase revenues by growing its economy take time.
