Pa. police shoot man during gun battle who is suspected of killing FedEx worker
Police reported they were being shot at in the area of 10th and Westmoreland Streets around 5:45 p.m. The suspect was described as an “active shooter,” with officers saying they were under fire.
No one else was reported as shot or injured, although several vehicles along 10th Street were struck by bullets. Police said they found the victim, Bart Masciulli, 51, of Levittown, fatally wounded inside a car after respoinding to that shooting scene. Witnesses told police the shooter walked up to the driver’s side window and fired repeatedly, the Inquirer said.
