Jordan Ortiz, 25, of Lancaster Township, was charged Friday with aggravated assault and strangulation in connection with a domestic incident with his wife on the morning of Sunday, April 2 at their home. Police then interviewed Kaylee in her hospital room and she told them that her husband Jordan had strangled her the morning of April 2 in the kitchen/dining area of their home in the 400 block of Dickens Drive in Lancaster Township. It was the second time Kaylee had told police her husband strangled her. The first time was shortly after it happened on April 2, according to court records.
Jordan also brought her to the emergency room on Monday April 3, where she was treated in the emergency room and apparently discharged. Jordan also called 911 five times the week before his wife died, including four times on April 2, the day Kaylee said she was strangled, and once on Monday April 3.
