ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — The owner of a baby goat named Nibbles was issued a summons for animal cruelty after the goat was left in a locked car overnight earlier this month, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office announced Sunday.

Deputies found the owner and gave him two warnings to provide food and water to Nibbles and seek veterinary care for the animal within four days or be cited. Nibbles is getting a complete medical check to make sure he is healthy before he is adopted out, according to the sheriff’s office.
