'Overwhelmed’ Selena Gomez says isolating herself can be ‘scary’ while discussing mental health woes
“What do you do when you’re having a bad mental health day? What’s something that you do for yourself?” the content creator, 29, asked the pop star. Selena Gomez admitted she is feeling “overwhelmed” with work while discussing her mental health struggles with Remi Bader in an interview Wednesday.
The “Wizards of Waverly Place” alum also turns to therapy when she is feeling low, but joked that she doesn’t want to bother her mental health professional too much.“Sometimes isolating myself when I’m not feeling great can be scary. I think all these thoughts,” she told Bader at the Rare Beauty x Sephora event in New York City on Wednesday., feels “fortunate” to have quite a few people she can turn to in times of need.
“I like to take some me-time,” she said of dealing with her career stress. “I think it’s very important where I just don’t speak to anyone and just stick with myself.”on numerous occasions, also reflected on the “negative” side of social media and how she creates a healthy online environment for herself.Gomez said that there is a “negative” side of social media, but Instagram can also be a useful tool.
