Some of the animals found at the home were deceased.
The Lehigh Valley Humane Society said they were brought to a home along South Fifth Street in Allentown by the Fish and Boat Commission.
“There are a tremendous amount of snakes, turtles, frogs and other animals here and we’ve come to take them out of the home because of the condition that they’re in,” Jackie Folsom, chief developmental officer with the Lehigh Valley Humane Society said to WFMZ. “There is a range of conditions that they’re in. There are some that we found deceased on the property, some that are not in good condition and others that were not in good housing or good habitats.
Justin Anderson, a disabled man who lives at the home, told WFMZ he had been caring for the animals with the help of about 10-15 volunteers. “I hope I can get my animals back quickly and give them good lives because a lot of them have extremely hard to care for requirements,” Anderson told the news outlet.Legendary rock guitarist says he will ‘absolutely not’ perform with ex-band member ever againIf you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
