Jersey City’s government social media accounts have rebranded from their long-time black and white logo.

The profile photos on Jersey City’s social media accounts recently transformed, practically overnight, from the long-time black-and-white logo with the words “Jersey City” — “city” in all-caps and “Jersey” perpendicular as the “i” in “city” — to incorporate blue, white, green and yes, even orange , into a design that pays homage to the statue who so lovingly stands guard off the city’s shore.
