“It doesn't matter if he did it when it was illegal. That was the past, this is the present. He shouldn't be in there now that it is legal. It doesn't make sense to me.”
Faith Winslow Canada says her infant son has the same wide, infectious smile as her father. “He is so goofy, just like him,” she tells. From the security of his infant walker, her son often waddles over to a photo of his grandfather perched within his reach. Every day, says Winslow Canada, “he just smiles and touches the picture. It makes me feel like, yeah, you know who your grandfather was.”
