Warmbier parents respond after Trump takes Kim 'at his word'

The family of Otto Warmbier, the University of Virginia student from Ohio who spent nearly a year and a half in North Korean custody and died shortly after being returned to the U.S., early Friday released a statement in response to President Donald Trump’s statement he takes North Korea’s autocratic leader, Kim Jong Un, at his word that he was not involved in Warmbier’s treatment.

‘We have been respectful during the summit process. Now we must speak out. Kim and his evil regime are responsible for the death of our son Otto. Kim and his evil regime are responsible for unimaginable cruelty and inhumanity.
