It’s important to note that it’s not just Muslims; Jews have also been kicked off flights for simply trying to adhere to their faith.that an older Jewish couple from New York filed a lawsuit against American Airlines after they said they were removed from a flight for refusing to put a bag containing their prayer shawl on the floor under their seat, despite explaining to the flight attendant that the shawl is a religious item that’s not permitted to touch the floor.
