” : I would be interested to know how much of the San Diego pension plan obligations the new city of La Jolla is going to shoulder. After all, La Jolla was a part of San Diego when these retirees were working for the city of San Diego.
Also, what part of the Ash Street debacle would La Jolla be liable for because, again, it was a part of the city of San Diego when this purchase was made? La Jollans seem to be eager to take the prime real estate and leave all of the problems of affordable housing and past debts to the rest of the city.
