Wrong kind of attention Re: “Castro again urges cult classic for film registry,” Metro , Sept. 3: Why is U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro so determined in perpetuating negative stereotypes of the Hispanic community by imploring the National Film Registry to include the movie “ Blood In Blood Out ”? This is a movie that perpetuates negative stereotypes in the Hispanic community. It’s bad enough that the Hispanic demographic is over-represented in our prison system.
