El Cajon Councilmembers Michelle Metschel and Phil Ortiz won outright in the primary, not drawing any opponents, a significant endorsement of their work by their communities. Similarly, Councilmember Laura Koval in Santee ran unopposed, underscoring the trust and confidence placed in her leadership.
