U.S. 1500-meter swimmer Katie Ledecky has proven once again that she's leagues above the rest of her competition, setting another record at the Olympics trials.
The Trials for Team USA have begun for the 2024 Paris Olympics, and one of the country's most decorated swimmers showed off her skillset during the 1500-meter freestyle event.World record holder Katie Ledecky was so fast Thursday that the camera angle from the coverage only contained her in the frame — she had outdistanced her competitors by too much to include them in the shot.
What makes Ledecky's time even more impressive is that she came in 20 seconds above Grimes. Another post from NBC Sports showcased just how dominant Ledecky has been in her swimming career:Ledecky set the world record of 15:20.48 at the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series – Indianapolis on May 16, 2018. All of the top 18 times in the 1500-meter freestyle event belong to her, and her most recent time is good for this list.
