Steveson’s signing comes weeks after he was released by World Wrestling Entertainment, which he first joined in the 2021 WWE Draft. Prior to his time with WWE, Steveson etched himself as one of the most accomplished wrestlers in NCAA history. While at Minnesota, he won consecutive national championships for the Golden Gophers in 2021 and 2022, won three Big Ten Conference championships and twice won theSteveson also competed for Team USA at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, winning the gold medal in the Men’s Freestyle 125kg event.
