Olive is going through a second round of layoffs, telling the state that it cut 209 jobs with 44 of those in Columbus.

Last July, Olive cut 450 jobs.

The company told the state that Olive workers are spread throughout the country with 44 of them in Ohio.The layoffs are expected to go into effect on April 10. The company, whose technology links health care providers and insurance companies with customer information, attributed last summer's layoffs to an overly aggressive expansion.

The new layoffs by Olive are the latest in what has been a string of layoffs by local companies in recent months.said last week it is cutting 12% of its jobs, including some in Columbus.
