The Oklahoma City Thunder are coming off another first-round exit in the NBA Playoffs. With that being said, the franchise should be confident in the future of the team going forward.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA - APRIL 19: Paul George #13 of the Oklahoma City Thunder stands during the National Anthem before tipoff against the Portland Trail Blazers during game three of the Western Conference quarterfinals at Chesapeake Energy Arena on April 19, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Oklahoma City also has one more year out of elite wing defender, Andre Roberson, who should be returning from injury next season after missing the entirety of the 2018-19 season. This also gives Oklahoma City the flexibility to make trades to give the roster a new look. Trading a player with multiple years remaining on their contract is extremely attractive as it gives the receiving team the certainty that the player will be more than a one-year rental.
