The Buckeyes will play a neutral site game against West Virginia in Cleveland on Dec. 30. This will be the first time the two teams have met since 2019 when the Mountaineers won 67-59 in a game that was also played in Cleveland’s Rocket Mortage FieldHouse. That game served as the first of four straight losses for a team that spent January tumbling down the rankings losing seven out of eight games.
While there is a date and a city set for where the game will be played, details on the venue are still being discussed as a contract has not yet been finalized. Though there’s good reason to believe that it will be played inside Rocket Mortage FieldHouse again.
