The virus surface is covered with spike proteins that enable the virus to enter and infect human cells.CLEVELAND, Ohio – The number of new COVID-19 cases in Ohio rose again this week, climbing from 6,660 last week to 7,347, the state reported Thursday.
This week’s total is the highest the case count has been since the beginning of February. At the same time last year, the state reported just over 4,000 cases.
