Gov. Kathy Hochul and Mayor Eric Adams brushed off comments by Texas Governor Greg Abbott Wednesday.

Adams, though, has been far less kind to his fellow Democrat, repeatedly slamming Biden for failing to do enough, even after the White House secured temporary protective status for Venezuelans, paving the way for thousands in the city’s care to obtain work visas.

The feds have only provided $145 million in funding to the city, which is expected to cost more than $12 billion through 2025. The only federal site the White House has set aside for migrants is Floyd Bennett Field, which was only signed off on recently and still is not reading to house asylum seekers.“Joe Biden can flip that switch any day and stop New York dealing with the consequences of an open border.

“There’s one solid piece of advice, and [New York officials] are beginning to follow it — the challenge the city of New York and the state of New York are dealing with is caused by one person, Joe Biden,” he said of the migrants crisis.
