Northern Quarter's Cocktail Beer Ramen + Bun announces shock closure with 'skyrocketing' costs and soaring energy bills
A popular Northern Quarter restaurant has announced its sudden closure, with bosses saying the business has been under 'massive financial strain' with 'skyrocketing' costs of goods and energy bills 'more than doubling'.
Owners made the emotional announcement on social media on Wednesday evening, saying the decision to close has 'broken their hearts' and has come after months of meetings and deliberations.The statement read: "This is probably the hardest thing we've ever had to write. The worst news we've ever had to deliver. This Sunday will be our last. The last noodle pull. The last blue drink. The last dinner service.

The obstacles that have been affecting everyone in the hospitality industry right now. "It breaks our heart to have to make this decision and please know, it has not come lightly or without months of deliberation, meetings and rescue plans. Countless discussions about a way out of the sh** that wouldn’t end up coming to this."
